    The new Character in Action program aligns with the Ministry of Education's directives and focuses on the empowerment of all stakeholders in fostering the democratic ideals of citizenship, justice, thoughtful decision-making, and enhanced quality of life.
  • Early Learning Program (E.L.P.)
  • French as a Second Language
    The AIM (Accelerative Integrated Method) gestures program is now mandatory in all Grades 4 - 8 French as a Second Language classrooms. This program has scaffolded vocabulary which ensures fluency in French. No child is left behind, as teachers are using gestures when speaking with the students. The French class is now a very active "French only" environment. With the AIM Language Learning methodology you can get real fluency in French with only a 40 minute class per day!   • Outers
    This outdoor education project is offered to Grade 11 students at Atikokan High School, and is designed to present challenges which develop confidence and self-reliance while demonstrating the importance of effective interpersonal skills and teamwork to overcome adversity.
