Atikokan High School and Robert Moore School to participate in Megaconference VI

The Megaconference connects people together, anywhere on Earth, in order to further the use of videoconferencing in education and research.  Everyone in the world is invited to watch in the Megaconference from the comfort of his or her own office, classroom, or conference room.  Like any professional conference, presenters and audience members will discuss current trends and work. Unlike other conferences, hundreds of participants, from universities, K-12 schools, and organizations, will gather simultaneously from all continents of the world using advanced Internet videoconferencing networks.

Live streamed video of Megaconference VI will be available on December 9th, from http://commonsvcg.oar.net/megaconference/.

Visit the site at 10:45 AM C.S.T. for Atikokan High School’s presentation on the history of the Atikokan area and Atikokan High School’s Outers Program.  At 12:00 (noon) C.S.T., Robert Moore School will present Ojibwe culture with a lesson on Ojibwe language and a traditional native dance.
