Principal Performance Appraisal

The Principal Performance Appraisal has been developed to support principals and vice-principals in their development as leaders. This appraisal process is required for all principals and vice-principals and includes requirements for an annual growth plan, as well as performance appraisal every five years. This process begins with a performance appraisal for all second year principals and vice-principals. The focus of the PPA is the provision of meaningful dialogue for principals and vice-principals with their supervisors about performance and the supports required for further growth and development.
