- develop and implement speech/language program for the system.
- evaluate, diagnose and program for students with communication disorders.
- provide a training program for Communication Assistants and professional development for Educational Support Personnel.
- provide Speech/Language consultative services to parents and teachers.
- develop and is accountable for the Speech/Language operational budget.
- develop annual goals and objectives for program.
- assists in IEP development and member of the IPRC
- representation on Board committees as well as district wide committees.
- maintain ongoing communication between teacher, parent, principal and student through periodic documentation - (assessment and progress reports).
