Atikokan High School's phys-ed and outdoor education programs have been given a boost by the Northwestern Health Unit. The school teamed with the ANFC and Atikokan Youth Initiatives to develop a Mountain Biking for Fitness program that won a grant to purchase new bikes through the Health Unit's Northwest Strong Healthy Kids Community Challenge.
