School board vice-chair Mike Lewis - who started his teaching career at Atikokan High School, went on to become its principal, and later the director of education for the Atikokan Board of Education - offered assurance that the board is committed to establishing a K-12 school that "will serve the needs of all of our students, and the community, today, and into the future."
