In January 2025, the Regional School Year Calendar Committee conducted a survey to gather input from students, families, and staff regarding two proposed calendar options for the 2025-2026 school year. A total of 2,718 responses were collected. The first option, which has students beginning school on September 3, 2025, and concluding on June 26, 2026, was favored by 58% of those who participated.
The RRDSB Board of Trustees has approved this draft calendar, which has now been submitted to the Ministry of Education for final approval. Until we receive this approval, the calendar will remain in draft form and may be subject to modifications. Once the Ministry of Education grants approval, a finalized version will be distributed to all families and staff.
