Student and Family Support Office

We're here to help. RRDSB's Student and Family Support Office offers parents, guardians, and caregivers a dedicated point of contact for timely support with complex questions or concerns regarding their child's education. We work collaboratively with families and schools to help connect students with the resources and support they need.

Contacting the Student and Family Support Office

If your question or concern requires additional follow-up or assistance beyond the school level, please contact the Support Office:

When emailing or phoning in, please provide as much information as possible (parent and student name, school name, detailed description) so we can best address your question or concern.

Student and Family Support Office Process

Before reaching out to the Support Office, we encourage you to contact your child’s school first with any questions or concerns.

Many concerns can be addressed by speaking directly with your child’s classroom teacher, vice-principal, principal, or superintendent.

Addressing concerns at the school level is often the quickest and most effective way to find a resolution.

Whether it’s a classroom or school-wide issue, the chart below outlines the best first step.
