2021-22 Budget
At its June 22, 2021 Special Board Meeting, the Trustees approved the 2021-22 Budget in the amount of $56,461,881.
The Rainy River District School Board Strategic Plan identifies, engagement of our students and parents, and values input from parents, guardians, members of the public and staff concerning the development of the Budget.
Before providing input, community members were encouraged to the review the Board's Program Strategy, Strategic Planning Goals, and Strategic Planning Commitments and complete a Budget Survey. Stakeholder feedback is collected through invitations to school councils and advisory committees. Union partners were also asked for feedback this year. Schools were invited to provide feedback through staff meeting sessions that mirrored the focuses of the budget ThoughtExchange. A key objective of the annual budget process is to align the Rainy River District School Board's financial resources with these important documents.
The Board would like to thank all those who have responded to the budget ThoughtExchange and provided input, and to encourage more participants in future years.
