The Rainy River District School has purchased a blanket student accident insurance policy for all full-time students which provides 24-hour coverage every day throughout the year, including weekends, summer vacation and other school breaks. Part-time students are not covered.
If a student is injured, this policy covers the following:
- Accidental Death
- Double Indemnity
- Accidental Dental Reimbursement
- Artificial Limbs, Eyes, Hearing Aids and Other Prosthetic Appliances
- Confinement Disability
- Counselling
- Critical Illness
- Dentures and Artificial Teeth
- Dismemberment and Specific Loss Indemnity
- Emergency Out-of-Province/Country Accident
- Emergency Transportation
- Eyeglasses and Contact Lenses
- Fracture, Dislocation or Surgery Indemnity
- Hospital and Paramedical Reimbursement
- Permanent Total Disability
- Rehabilitation
- Repatriation
- Special Treatment Travel
This policy is in effect from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023.
This policy is in effect from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024.
