2026 - 2027 School Year Calendar Results
In January 2026, the Regional School Year Calendar Committee invited students, families, staff, and community members to provide feedback on the draft 2026–2027 School Year Calendar.
The survey was open from January 5 to January 16, 2026, and more than 830 responses were received across the region. The majority of respondents indicated overall support for the proposed calendar structure, which includes a September 1, 2026 start date and a June 25, 2027 end date.

PROPOSED 2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR CALENDAR
This draft calendar has been approved by the Board of Trustees on February 3, and will be sent to the Ministry of Education for final approval. The calendar will remain a draft calendar until Ministry approval is received. This means that the calendar is subject to change until we receive final approval. Once approved by the Ministry of Education, we will send a final copy to all families and employees.
