At the June 2015, Board Meeting, the Rainy River District School Board approved the award of a tender to perform renovations at Atikokan High School, and a tender to perform renovations at Rainy River District High School.

At the June 2, 2015 Board Meeting, the Rainy River District School Board approved the 2015-2016 balanced budget of $50,209,961, which includes $3 million in amortization.
