The 41 grade 7-8 students in Atikokan got a first-hand look at post-secondary life as part of a field trip to the city of Thunder Bay, April 29-30, 2015.

RRDSB Vice Chair Mike Lewis stated at the meeting of the Board on May 5 that Atikokan needs to start thinking about how best to consolidate North Star and AHS into one Kindergarten to grade 12 public school.
