On December 8, 2015, the Rainy River District School Board reached a tentative agreement at the local level with Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario – Rainy River District Local, while a local tentative agreement was reached with Rainy River District ETFO Occasional Teacher Local on December 9, 2015.

The December 1, 2015 Board Meeting of the Rainy River District School Board was held at the Education Centre in Fort Frances. At the meeting, the Board presented its monthly Recognition of Excellence to the Alternative Secondary School Program being offered at the United Native Friendship Centre in partnership with Fort Frances High School and the Rainy River District School Board.
