Earlier this fall, the Premier and Minister of Education announced a review of Ontario’s student assessment practices. Led by the Minister’s Education Advisors, the independent review aims to ensure that Ontario’s student assessments are culturally relevant, able to measure a wider range of learning, and better reflect student well-being and equity. Over the next several weeks, the Advisors will be holding public engagement sessions across the province to seek input on how to improve student assessment.
