On December 8, 2015, the Rainy River District School Board reached a tentative agreement at the local level with Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario - Rainy River District Local, while a local tentative agreement was reached with Rainy River District ETFO Occasional Teacher Local on December 9, 2015.
