RECOGNITION OF EXCELLENCE 
Retirement: Kristy Cameron
Principal Carly Skrenski of Northen Lakes School K-12 congratulated Kristy on her retirement and shared some of Kristy’s accomplishments over the course of her very long and illustrious career. She was a fierce advocate for support in the classrooms and used her experience in primary education to provide one on one student support, focus and learning experiences for her students to help close any learning gaps. Kristy was a great source of support and information and her calm demeanor was always very comforting to our younger students. She will be greatly missed and we wish her all the best in her future, hopefully artistic endeavors. 

Employee Recognition: 
Kevin Knutsen, Executive Officer of Employee and Labour Relations, recognized and congratulated the following Rainy River District School Board school staff on their 25  years of service with the board: Keira Chown, Jodi Easton

The following policies were reviewed at the Policy Committee meeting on December and presented to the Trustees:
i. Policy 7.00 Occupational Health and Safety.
ii. Policy 7.22 Emergency Response.
iii. Policy 7.75 Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention.
iv. Policy 4.11 Supporting Students with Prevalent Medial Conditions for stakeholder consultation.
